Abstract
The book focuses on the early phase of the avant-garde movement within Czech literature from the point of the "aesthetic mentality", that is subjective interiorization that refuses all potential analogies of exterior models. The book interprets Czech avant-garde within the complex network of European artistic and aesthetic thought.
