Recap of events and documents explaining the reasons and process of the liquidation of the working team and project Lexicon of Czech Literature for the new millennium in the Institute for Czech Literature, which led to the professional public protests also, characteristic of asymmetric nature of controversy on this topic, issues relating to the management of scientific research, ethics and authority.
