THE EFECT OF WATER ENVIROMENT ON CHANGES IN HEART RATE

Publication at First Faculty of Medicine |
2010

Abstract

The paper presents information on changes in heart rate in students which occurred in measuring on the land and in the water environment. Measurement participated (n = 45) students of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport Management field.

To detect changes in heart rate sensors have been used from Polar company. We found that the value of heart rate measured in the horizontal position on land and in water is not significantly different.

In comparing the values of heart rate in a horizontal position on the surface of the abdomen with breathing apparatus (sunk in the face) and horizontally on the back there was not a statistically significant difference.
