The concept of relief evolution of the vicinity of an incised meander on the river Svratka near the Doubravník village was compiled based on the analysis of morphostructures, field mapping and study of relevant scientific literature. Detailed analysis of the digital elevation model was an essential part of this study.
Morfostructural analysis revealed the connection between the relief evolution and the neotectonic faults that influenced actual relief configuration. Remobilization of these faults in Miocene was probably the cause of the deflection of the Svratka River to the contemporary river channel.
