Abstract

Proceeding from a historical overview of developmental tendencies in the professional requirements form translators/interpreters, the aim of thi paper es to present to the professional public the results of the analysis of the situation in teaching translation and interpreting, and the application of these results in the preparation of lifelong learning for teachers of translation and interpreting in terciary education.
