Use of cryopreserved ovarian cancer cells to chemosensitivity testing

Abstract

Ninety-three MTT chemosensitivity essays were performed in 22 patients with advanced epithelilal carcinoma of ovary. Results of MTT essay using freshly isolated tumours cells were compared to results obtained from defrost samples.

Both tumor tissue samples were tested against cisplatinu, paclitaxel, dosorubicine, carboplatinum, gemcitabin and topotecan.
