Borders of the Worlds. Old Norse Miðgarðr and Útgarðr in Structuralist and Poststructuralist Interpretations

Abstract

The article describes the main features of Old Norse mythical world, its correspondences to the daily world of Old Norsemen a the ways these correspondences were interpreted by adherents of different scientifical attitudes.
