Abstract
Case report on patient with bilateral blindness after severe alkali burn treated by implanation of artificial cornea AlphaCor with very good visual results. This patient experienced penetrating injury in this eye 6 months later and underwent emergency penetrating keratoplasty and explanation of the subluxated lens.
Despite of all unfavourable circumstances execllent visual results were achieved in this challenging case.
