Abstract
The study is concerned about Czechoslovak sculptor F. V.
Foit, his travel to Africa in the second half of the 20th century, his life and work in Africa. He was expatriated and in 1970s he took a possibility to get citizenship of Yugoslavia (Slovenia).
He donated his ethnographic collection to Yugoslavia. Part of the study refers to this collection.
