Abstract
The pictures of the events in 1848-49 form an understandable and clear story with a hopeful beginning and a bitter end. In the course of the twelve months from March 1848 to March 1849, we at least recognize different reactions in Czech society.
On one side stood the initial euphoria, the enthusiasm for permanent changes and expectations.
