The conceptualization of pain in Polish: a contribution to contrastive studies

Abstract

The paper presents the picture of pain in Polish, as represented by numerous expressions figuring the lexeme "ból" (pain). The study deals with various conceptualizations of pain in various languages, too, from the perspective of contrastive semantics.
