Abstract
The social relations from the formation of the independent Czechoslovakia in 1918 to both its break-up in 1992 and the formation of the Czech Republic as at 1 January 1993 are, as a matter of fact, the history of political structure which did not manage without extréme turns. Those changes had to have and they did have impact on the financial and tax policies of the State.
Currently, we have beem witnessing, for more than two years, as economic cisis, which originated in 2008 as a crisis of the US banking system. This crisis has gradually and quickly spread over into other parts of the world and i tis predominantly an economic cisis.
Our republic, whose tradition of the current social system is very short, in fact, less than twenty years, has to cope with such challengesas overproduction, unemployment and, first of all, increasing deficit of the public budgets. This paper tries to draw the attention to those problems
