Abstract
The analysis of data from the second wave of the ESS (European Social Survey) leads to these findings: (1) Men in European states evaluate the health systems in their countries more favorably than women. (2) The relationship between age and evaluation of health system has the form of an open J: old people evaluate the health system the best, people of middle age the worst.
