Abstract

Stereotypes, prejudice, and discrimination are ubiquitous phenomena with negative consequences for both the quality of life of categories of people discriminated against and the existence of democratic institutions. The book is dedicated to historical and methodological analyses of these phenomena.

Special emphasis is put on the social psychology of ethnic and gender stereotypes, attitudes and prejudices.
