Abstract
The text deals with public sessions of falcons, which went down in history as the Sokol rally from the first meeting in 1882. The size of Sokol rallies continued to grow and before World War I became the biggest rally events of social life and important contribution of Czech national consciousness-raising efforts.
Even after the establishment of an independent Czechoslovak state remained in the spotlight of the Czech public. 10th Sokol rally in 1938 turned into a huge rally of the Czech nation's determination to resist Nazism.
