Abstract
Are mystical experiences a sign of mental disorder? What is spiritual emergency? Mystical path and its pitfalls... It is all described in this writing that was downloaded in electronic version by more than 8000 readers already.
The book gives an alternative view of some often psychiatrized phenomena such as "depressions","visions" or "voices" and shows that these phenomena might be of spiritual significance too. The experiences of mystics St.
John of the Cross, St. Teresa of Ávila and others as well as the experiences of shamans from different parts of the world illustrates that psychopharmaceuticals are not the only possible remedies for these states.
