Abstract
A parallel corpus can be used to build a dictionary as a source of translation equivalents, also serving as a rich source for comparative studies.The author presents her findings regarding the interwoven lexical and syntactic phenomena by the examples of schlecht, schlimm and böse notable for their broad semantic range and wide spectrum of collocations.
