Abstract
The first part of this chapter deals with pathogenesis, diagnosis and complications of central nervous system infections. The special parts are focused on etiology, epidemiology, pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, laboratory diagnosis and treatment of suppurative meningitis, brain abscesses and encephalitis.
