Utilization of various possibilities of multimedia provides a wide base for versatile applications in science education and especially for creative work of teachers. Moreover, recently is rapidly growing computer literacy of students and consequently also of many teachers of all generations.
It is manifested in using of various multimedia devices like aids for modern education. In an effort to realize all the requirements from Framework educational programmes, one of the best ways seems to be involving of the inquiry based science learning and the training of project method with the support of multimedia.
This paper presents ideas from successfully implemented interdisciplinary science projects and also some possibilities of using multimedia in chemical education. Part of this paper is focused on the general possibilities of using multimedia tools for educational processes.
