Abstract
Liver failure is a syndrome cause by decrease of functional capacity of the liver below critical level when develops progresive deterioration of the homeostasis. In typical clinical situation is accompanied and modified by inflammatory syndromes and portal hypertension.
The authors in the postgradual publication present essential pathophysiologic, diagnostic and therapeutic information about liver failure.
