New Media on the Border between Practice and Theory in Art Education.

Abstract

The article is focused on the broader questions about connections between practice and theory in art education in the context of the role of new media in educational practice. Normative and explanative approach to art pedagogy, specific features of analytic explanation in art education, and alternative views on the position of the expressive creation in art education are discussed.
