Abstract
Osteoarthritis is the most frequent joint disease, but therapeutic possibilities are limited. Author summarizes newer concepts of pathogenesis of osteoarthritis, especially role of inflammation, and their possible therapeutic potency.
Diagnostic criteria of frequent osteoarthritis syndromes are noticed.
