Place names in education - selection criteria, methods of instruction

Abstract

This article contributes to the discussion surrounding teaching regional geography. More specifically, it focuses on the selection of place names as well as the selection of methods for teaching place names.

Fundamental problems associated with the instruction of place names are outlined.
