Abstract
Bezoars are retained concretions of undigested foreign material that accumulate within the gastrointestinal tract. The autors present an extraordinary case report of a newborn infant with prenatal appearance of intestinal obstruction.
The congenital bezoar was a cause of subtotal duodenal obstruction. Histological examination of the bezoar revealed his origin from the squamous epithelium.
