Lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) - a perspective marker in ovarian cancer

Abstract

Patients with ovarian cancer had significantly higher plasma LPA level compared with controls with no ovarian pathology and patients with benign ovarian tumor. We detected plasma LPA elevation in early stages of ovarian cancer.

LPA can be a useful marker for ovarian cancer, particularly in the early stages of the disease.
