Antifungal 3,5 - disubstituted furanones: From 5-acyloxymethyl to 5-alkylidene derivatives

Abstract

A few series of 3,5 - disubstituted furanones bearing an alkoxy-, aryloxy- and alkylidene groups at C (5) were prepared, and their antifungal and cytostatic activity evaluated.
