Since 2001 have been realised research investigations on the new high school graduation. There are monitored the sample of high school students the knowledge and skills in chemistry in three categories: (1) knowledge of understanding, (2) application of knowledge and problem-solving (3) work with information.
This is a reflection on the challenges set out in the catalog for graduation chemistry exam. Product defines graduation requirements so that the students can learn regardless of the type of school attended.
The statistically verified results of problems created by our team showed that a well-established educational tests may indeed become a tool for determining the level of knowledge and skills in chemistry.
