Psychic disorders as a risk factor of suicidal process

Abstract

Psychic disorders are the central risk factors of suicidal behavior. It was found that they are present in 90% of suicidal acts.

Most often found are affective disorders, abuse of drugs, schizophrenia and personality disorders. Each of them creates a specific vulnerability for suicidal behavior, their commorbidity is regarded as the most lethal.

In this article we focused on the specificity of the most common psychic disorders associated with suicidal behavior and their prevalence in suicidal process.
