Competition in various fields of human activity is an integral part of our time. Under the conditions of modern society it has become a "driving force" of development and this trend is not expected to decrease or even stop over the long term.
Throughout human history we have frequently encountered a demand for figures that provide excellent or extraordinary results in a concrete field of human activity. The term "talented" has become common for these people.
For these reasons we would like to present you with a collective monograph which deals with the issue of the identification of sports talents. The publication is primarily oriented on the aspects of the development and the systematic sport-non-specific support of sports talents.
Part of the publication deals with the diagnostic means for selecting talents in everyday sporting practice with the subsequent application of these results in the theory of sports training.
