The Kinesiological View on Complexity of the Axial System

Publication at First Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Physical Education and Sport |
2010

Abstract

In conclusion it is possible to state that it is necessary to think of the axial system as of a complex compound of the pelvis, the spine itself and the skull. Further it is necessary to include muscular and ligamentous tissue, in the broadest sense, and last but not least the nervous structures that provide control of this complex system.

If there is a disorder in one of elements of this complex system, pathological processes occur in which pain appears in the beginning and in the end there are degenerative structural handicaps on respective level.
