The struggle between the Unity of Brethern and the pastor in Jihlava (Iglau)

Abstract

In the 16th century the Unity of Brethern considerably aggrandized and opened itself up to the world. Its priest were educated at Western European universities and schools and its representatives actively participated in public life in the kingdom of bohemia.

At the same time the Unity maintained its own originality, which was not always in accordance with the teachings of other Protestants.
