Abstract
The chapter begins with basic principles of art therapy as non-verbal method using different kinds of artistic or visual products made obviously by client in therapy intervention. Chapter enters on history and contemporary art therapy in Czech Republic and in the world.
The summary of relevant experts work and important publications follows. There are art therapy research examples in the conclusion of the chapter.
