Abstract

The aim of the book is to analyse and compare two important documents in the area of human rights protection in Europe: the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms, adopted in the framework of the Council of Europe, and the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union, adopted fifty years later in the European Union.
