Politics and martyrdom in the longest court trial during World War I : Stylisation and strategies in the trial of Karel Kramář

Publication |
2009

Abstract

The author of the paper claims a court trial to be a special communication context, in which the relationships between the participants are dependent on their roles and motives. He analyses Kramář's finishing statement with pragmatic-semantic approach, which shows how difficult it is to evaulate this trial and the changes of Kramář's social behaviour.
