Looking back at the origin and development of study field nursing at the CU, Faculty of Medicine in Hradec Králové

Abstract
The article assesses the ten-year lasting bachelor field of study Nursing in Hradec Králové. It brings closer the initial concept of four-year study that ran in the so-called combined form.
It describes the changes in the structure of subjects and the change of concept in the year 2006, when the study was changed to a three-year form. In the period 1997-2007, 307 students graduated, of which more than 50 found their work place in the Teaching Hospital in Hradec Králové.
