Abstract
The contribution explains the opinions of the tourism participants at the possibility of rise and usage of the emergency night shelters in the Šumava National Park. The shelters enable legal overnight stays within the National Park territory for a specific segment of tourists.
Present shelter sites are surveyed and partial adjustments proposed one the base of a filed survey. The results of a questionnaire survey with potential users of this innovation are given.
