The graduates of choirmastery department at Faculty of Education usually enter the reality of teaching practice - the environment, that does not a priory have artistic ambitions - nevertheless opportunities and ways of further applications are many. It is crucial to keep in mind that their preparation requires both professional and personality development.
Excellent graduates give hope for further improvement of the dismal present state in the musical education, of cultivation and education for the next generation, but they also very well represent the university they have come from. It is impossible to cover the whole necessary range of knowledge and skills for the choirmaster in the five-year curriculum.
Therefore it is important to seek the right way, not to omit the target and keep asking - Why do I lead the choir? Why do I teach? Do I accept the responsibility for professional and moral growth of myself and those I influence? Am I a good example for them?
