Publication at Faculty of Science |

Abstract

The article deals with legal instruments how the institucionalised protection of nature could protect the landscape parks. On four examples (parks in Krásný Dvůr, Petrohrad, Jemčina, Chudenice) are shown different ways how to protect them, their advanteges and disadvanteges.

The landscape parks are interesting and important for protection of nature because this parks were built as an ideal landscape. So the remains of natural biotops take part of this parks.

On the other hand we can find there often exceptional trees, interesting for their age or their exotic origins or for both. The examples of parks were chosen because they were found by the same foundator - Johann Rudolph Czernin, very educated and travelled Czech aristocrat.

However, the parks are far from each other, they lie in three regions (Ústecký, Plzeňský, Jihočeský) and are protected by different ways.
