"New political history" of the Czech national movement? An example in Tomek´s memoirs

Abstract

Firstly, diskusions of the last decades about reconceptualization of the traditional political history are summerized. The concept of the new political history is characterized.

Possible problems and periodisation of the 19th century Czech history in the field of modern political space concept are pointed out. Finally, interpretation of the Tomek s memoirs is given in the changing context of public space perception.
