The article evalautes selected postural stability paramethers of modern pentathletes. Shooting as important event of modern pentathlon should be influenced by postural stability significantly.

Stabil posture is significant part of athlete’s performance. Shooting in modern pentathlon takes place immediately between phases of running and hence under physical stress.
