Individualised assessment - Inspiration for the educational methodology

Publication |
2010

Abstract

The study draws attention to the fact that traditional assessment relies on questionnaires which are not sensitive enough to individual experiences, viewpoints, values and living context of research participants. One of the possible solutions could be an individualized assessment, which has just started to be used in quality of life research.

Level of individualization can gradually shift in the new types of questionnaires. The study demonstrates application of such individualized assessment in research.

The author of the study points out that the individualized assessment of quality of life can be inspiring for both educational and psychological assessment.
