The aim of the study is to highlight the importance of body composition (BC) and fat mass (FM) monitoring in the chosen groups of population. The contribution offers information about BC and FM of current population.
For examination of BC a multifrequency bioimpedance analyser In Body 3.0 was used. The measured data showed higher proportion of relative amount of fat free mass and simultaneously low proportion of FM in individuals regularly exercising in comparison with common population with no exercise in which higher proportion of FM means a dangerous risk for their health.
The discovered intersexual differences were seen in all observed parameters and were in accordance with available studies when exercising and non-exercising men proved higher values of active mass and lover values of inactive mass than women. In conclusion it is pointed out the importance of observation of the level and changes of BC in common population and its peripheral groups.
