Abstract

The aim was to verify the possibility of using kinematic analysis to the objectification of the locomotor pattern of gait in patients with hereditary neuropathy (CMT) and verify the intra-individual implementation of gait in patients with CMT. The part of solution was to choose the parameters that characterize the major motion stereotype of gait for the type of disease and can be objectify by 3-D kinematic analysis.

The study showed that it is possible to use kinematic analysis to measure and evaluate the kinematic parameters of the motor speech of gait. Evaluated on the basis of spatial and temporal-spatial characteristics, we have found intra-individual stability of the locomotor task of gait in laboratory conditions.

We have identified a positive change in selected parameters (range of motion in joints of lower extremities) after the rehabilitation plan. Chosen procedure is suitable for objectification of the effect of therapy on patients with CMT, and will be applied to a wider group of patients.
