Abstract

Chapter deals with reactibility of athletes as a theoretical concept (latent variable) and its place in the structure of motor abilities of athletes. Characterizes the reaction time in terms of psychological and physiological.

The chapter is referred to by athletes typology distribution and reactibility in terms of an earlier typology (Stejskal, 1998) and presented simultaneously. The chapter also discusses the factors affecting reaction time and the possibility of influencing the effect of sports training.

The end of the chapter describes the relationship between motor learning and reactivity and chapter concludes with practical examples from sports practice.
