Abstract
The aim of this chapter is to introduce the problem of unequal access to education using the particular case of the Czech Republic. Considering the increasing number of educational possibilities and rising level of education it needn't to be apparent that educational inequalities needn't to be changing or can even be increasing.
The term equality in access to education is explained and contemporary level of educational inequality in the Czech Republic is discussed.
