Abstract
The chapter deals with the piety of the burghres from Zittau at the end of the Middle Ages, in particular with their pious practice (mass and altar foundations, Eucharist and Passion devotion, the so called normative centering of the piety) and further with the analysis of the oblations from the account books of the parish churchwardens from the beginning of the 16th century.
