Abstract
This division of the subsidiary chapter "Portal hypertension" deals with relatively young topic of functional disorders of the lung circulation in portal hypertension. It presents pathophysiological principals as well as clinical aspects of the two diverse syndromes - hepatopulomary syndrome and portopulmnary hypertension.
