Mother Tongue Teacher as a Participant and Guide of Further Education (Possibilities of Profiling of a Czech Language Teacher in Pregradute Studies at UK-PedF)
Abstract
The primary goal of pregraduate preparation of Czech language teachers is aimed at direct pedagogical activity at primary or secondary school, according to the chosen study program. Next to bohemistic disciplines, other counterparts of the studies naturally is methodology of Czech language directed at relevant school grade, for which sth teacher is being educated, including basic information for working with pupils and students with specific educational needs.
During his or her career, Czech language teacher often finds himself in a situation, for which he is not prepared in terms of methodolody: in situation, when he should educate adult people, e. g. in courses of whole-life education. Special problems bring methodological training for teaching in courses for seniors at so called University of the third age.
The question remains, if these situations should be taken into accizbt dzrubg teacher's pregraduate preparation in the subject methodology.
