Abstract
The entry conforts current situation in the field of production of textbooks and teaching aids with the period before November 1989. The author draws our attention to some findings of earlier theory of textbook production which are worth paying attention to till present day.
Creativity of teachers preparing their own teaching aids and adjusting non-educative games to their educative needs is then evaluated.
