Personal experience with prehospital induction of mild therapeutic hypothermia in patients treated from out-of-hospital cardiac arrest

Abstract

Initiation of therapeutic mild hypothermia in successfully resuscitated out-of-hospital cardiac arrest patients has been moving into the prehospital phase of the management recently. We describe three case reports demonstrating the wide indications for this effective method.
